‘It’s easy to understand why Pearson Convention Centre won the Top Performers Award for best Banquet Facilities – again. The timelessly elegant 64,000 sq. ft. banquet facility has earned the top award several years running.

Conveniently located near Toronto’s Pearson International Airport with easy access to highways 427, 407 and 410, Pearson Convention Centre is palatial in size and decor, and can host weddings and corporate events for up to 2,000 people. Renowned for its exceptional food, created by executive chef Emilio Cueto and his team, and stellar service, added perks include the convenience of an onsite event planner, free guest parking and the Hilton Garden Inn is located right on the property.

Nishan has noticed a few predominant trends in the wedding industry: “While some weddings are being downsized to an average of 300 guests, East Indian weddings are getting bigger, averaging around 1,000 people. We work with specialty caterers to bring in East and West Indian food. We are also seeing an increase in the demand for gluten free and vegan meals as people are eating healthier or have certain dietary needs.”
